A:Sick mark off used as a pre-text to avoid working SPECIFIC DAYS or
assignments will be handled as a failure to report under part 1 of the
policy and assessed 20 POINTS. This handling does not preclude the
carrier's right to assess discipline in appropriate cases.

If you intend to mark off sick the day before or the day of
Thanksgiving be prepared to be assessed 20 points.  You have received 
notice that this behavior will not be tolerated.
Do not forget, once you reach 20 points you will be in the first level
of discipline for attendance. Taking one "single" sick can put you in
discipline status. If you do not have the proper paperwork to validate a
sick mark off during this holiday season, plan on attending an
investigation hearing.
