We are sorry to inform you, even though your union agreement states
that you get a weeks vacation, no where in the language does it
GUARANTEE you 7 FULL DAYS!  We know that your vacation starts on
Friday/Saturday at 0001 hours and runs until the following
Friday/Saturday until 0001 hours but that is irrelevant. Even though it
WAS OF NO FAULT OF YOUR OWN that you where forced out of town on your
first day of vacation{Saturday} and did not return until late that
night, we can not allow you to make up the lost time. You will
therefore be marked back up for service on the following
Friday/Saturday at 0001 hours and will observe 6 days instead. You were
compensated for your day of work on Saturday. Therefore you lost NO PAY.
There was no lost compensation. Again, there is no direct binding
language that states that any vacation must be 7 days with no
exceptions!


ARE YOU SHOCKED BY THIS BOYS AND GIRLS? THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IS GOING
ON AT THIS TIME WITHIN CSX. YOU BETTER CALL YOUR LOCAL CHAIRMAN RIGHT
NOW AND GET THE BALL ROLLING ON GETTING A PETITION STARTED AND PUTTING
A STOP TO THE ABUSE. WE ALL KNOW WHAT CSX CONSIDERS A WEEK END AND WEEK
DAYS. THEY ARE SO FAR OUT IN LEFT FIELD WITH THIS. ASK ANYONE IN THE
PUBLIC WHAT IS CONSIDERED A WEEK AND THEY WILL TELL YOU 7 DAYS. THE
LEVEL OF ABUSE IN THIS COMPANY JUST KEEPS GROWING! 2022  HAS GOT TO BE
THE YEAR YOU THROW THEM ON THEIR SWORD. YOU HAVE LET THIS PIMPLE ON THE
BUTT OF HUMANITY GET TOO INFECTED. IT IS TIME TO PUT AND END TO THE
DISEASE.
