There are numerous times where carmen have shopped trains in queensgate,
but when they arrived in the shop status there were some foremen that
would pull the fra tags and let em go on ahead without being repaired.
We have a foremen there Jim Sterns that had violated the blueflag three
times! three times once dropping the tracks blueflag while carmen were
working on the track!, but three times until Tom Grace finnaly gave him
some time off. Queens gate does agreat job when the fra are there, but
if the men were not so afraid of losing their jobs they would tell the
fra exactly how the practices flow in Queensgate, case in point mat
triddico made the statement to the outbound.. yeah I know how things
are done when no one is around and that is fine, but we have to do it
right when we have company, after they leave it's back to the same ol
same go from one hose to another as fast as they can. Then when their
bosses get upset because the shop count goes high they start looking
for someone to charge or write-up for the same exact behavior they
accept when things are going good. CSXT claims it has no double
standards, but it swims in it from the head down in management. The
managers constantly break the no talking on cell phones while driving
in the yard rules and stoping at crossings well let's hope noone gets
in front of them because of their driving habits and cell phone habits
it is only a matter of time!, but if you were caught you would be
charged or written up. Union representation? Queensgate has written
tons of job claims over the past few months, but the local tells them
he has not recieved any of them! We all know CSXT is one of the most
corrupt organizations in railroad history, their managers are the worst
most unprofessionals they can hire, the constant double standards and
lies told by these managers is one for the books. The time is coming
where every craft is going to have to call for a strike one never seen
before where ALL crafts join together and demand CSXT let us work and
quit bringing in more and more kids in the mind set of if your are not
firing people then you are not doing your jobs types! The FRA NEEDS TO
LAUNCH A VERY PRECISE INVESTIGATION AND HAVE CONVERSATIONS ALONE WITH
EVERY ONE OF CSXT EMPLOYEES (ESPECIALLY IN CINCINNATI OHIO QUEENSGATE
YARD!)
