You conductors and engineers better start covering your asses. We have
witnessed some TM ordering crews to violate the hell out of the class 1
brake test rule and when we asked a few if they knew what they were
doing was wrong they said the TMs claim they talked to the FRA and they
said they can do the test they were doing it.

Read your rules book as well as the FRA codes. When your doing an
initial test at your terminal you cant do a roll by inspection before
you do your brake test. Some guys have been coupling into their cuts
and pulling the cars out doing a roll by inspection of the release
before doubling back to their next cut. Then the Tm is making them pull
out the second cut and hang tele and then walk the set, get on and head
out. We read the CSX rules books a hundred times. this is a total bull
shit class one test. They say the FRA said it didn't matter whether
you see the roll by release first of last. BULLSHIT! You have to do a
pre inspection of both sides of the cars from the ground before you can
do a roll by release of the brakes. Its black and white in your FRA
CFR49 200-299 rules. A roll by release does not constitute as a pre
safety inspection of equipment from the ground. Your TM is lying to you
and is going to throw you under the bus if the FRA is standing there and
catches you. He isn't going to admit he told you the FRA said that
because its bull shit. Not only is it an FRA violation its a violation
of CSX brake rules. Man, don't go down for these ass holes because
they want to rush you out in cold weather. We don't want to report it
but if we keep seeing it we will have to. If you don't have the balls
to call them on it or call the FRA we got to!

RRJIM AND THE REST

So now we have gotten off on a tangent about who worked harder and who
was better and blah blah blah blah. Tired of reading about FMLA abuse??
Who gives a rats ass how things were or how tough the old heads had it.
What we need to do is focus on the here and now.  Your days are gone. 
So tired of hearing the same old stories...I remember when.  
Don't lose focus guys. Focus on what's happening now. That's what's
important. We got the old crow dead and buried now and a new CEO who
hasn't made his way in yet to introduce the new sherrif in town. Mark
my word he's going to. It's 2018 and a new year. Time to take our
union's by the horn. Take back OUR RIGHTS AS UNION MEMBERS. Our right
to have a say in the back room decisions. Time to blow in every
supervisor who tells you to go do what your told you piece of crap and
put your claim in for the violation later. That's deliberate union
busting and blatant disregard for agreements between the union and
carrier. Start naming names. Everyone in the system needs to know the
names of hostile union hating supervisors. This site is your voice to
the public. USE IT! Ignore the posers on here. Learn to pick out the
company moles and distractors. Notice how our most famous poster has
been missing? Probably using a new MO. noticed how he disappeared with
the FMLA frenzy. Probably the one who started the mud slinging with the
old heads. Ignore them. Concentrate on the here and now! We got rusted
out freezing motors with bad seals on the Windows and doors. We got
junk motors that can't hold the air or keep the main reservoirs pumped
up. We still got Tele's droping out on too long of trains.  Just had
another 198 car train. Rumors are orders are being put out to bottle
air on cuts of cars when switching and engineers to put  AC motors in 4
knotch to get the air up. Idiots! Can it get any more stupid!

Filing a complaint with the dept of labor is what you do before you're
terminated.  They get involved and push the company to resolve the
matter.  It lets the company know that you will not sit Quietly.  
After termination the company is less likely to freely listen and must
be served a demand letter from an attorney.

If a TM acctually did order everyone to blow their horn as you stated
then you as well as all other engineers should report him to the ethics
committee. Unnecessary use of the horn is an operating rules violation
as well as unethical. Forcing someone to use company equipment in
violation of the rules for a personal agenda as well as personal views
should be reported immediately. Does this TM have a name? Why wouldn't
you post it. He should not be in management.

I will have everyone conducting the hearing and the hr lady on the phone
listed as defendants.  I've already spoke with an attorney. He works on
a contingency he took my case. I asked him if I had a good chance of
winning.  He said he wouldn't represent me if he didn't think I
already have since he only gets paid if I settle. I haven't been to my
hearing yet but it's too late. CSX will be receiving my complaint.

Just wondering if it's possible for those that have been pulled OOS by
CSX without a fair and impartial hearing (lol)with this FMLA ordeal to
obtain a Attorney and file suit against CSX corp. but also go after the
CSX managers that are signing their names to the charge letters? I
understand that these low level managers are only doing as their told,
but can we also go after the person who is generating the letters?
