Conductor 1-10

Got their point across. Where do you work? Men are laying off FM as
much now as before. CSX can't scare a man to good health. This
place turns out fat broken down bodies. If 60% of the men are on Fmla
it surprise me the number wasn't higher.

P.S. Go fuck yourself. Hope you get laid off punk.

You're one of those who has a standard for everyone else that you
don't Measure up to.

It's easy to talk about another man's sin. Ask yourself have you
ever stole time from your beloved CSX. Waited to tie up to miss a
train catch your off day. Have you ever passed the work along to the
next Crew. Talked to everyone in the Crew room instead of starting
your deadhead. Took your time to kill a train. Laid off Union. Laid
off sick when you felt fine. Called the man to get flipped home when
there was rested crews. Cried to get the boards cut. Put in pl days
before anyone else could.
Bitches like you are the worse. Complain about everyone when they're
not around just to suck them off the next time you see them. You
might not lay off Fmla but your doing other shit just as bad or worse.
I hear the men I work with that live on the rails tell me how they
support their family. I ask them which one and does the current
family know you? They are the most miserable, untrustworthy men like

Save your self righteous bullshit for your fat lazy cheating wife.

Saving dimes:

Unless changes have been made - expense/re-imbursement type monies
paid, like meal allowances, auto mileage, etc., are \ were not
included as taxable income or counted towards retirement earnings.

No doubt though that the co. considers all wages, expenses, and their
costs for your health care premium = your overall wage package.

CSX got its point across. Legal or not what they did sent the message.
The abusers know who they are and can live with the attention they
brought to everyone else. Don't run your pie holes defending them.
Just had one tell me yesterday he wasn't working if we got 4 inches of
snow or more. WASN'T HIS THING! I hope they throw the book at him. I
hate it too but man up and work in it. FMLA isn't to be used for your
lazy ass personal days off. Karma is a bitch. Maybe they'll get an
illness that they really do need FMLA for. Sounds harsh? Well it's
meant to. Just hope those who were wrongly accused get their justice.
To bad they have to go through this because of abusive pukes.

My accountant told me to take the taxable income amount that I was
claiming on my tax return by the hours I worked for the year and that
would be the hourly wage that csx was paying me to work for them. I'm
claiming 88,000 and worked 3041 hours. That's around 28 an hr. Thats
what csx paid me to be an employee for them. Not sure exactly what all
is included in taxable income but he said it is considered part of my
wages. if they want to pay me 28.00 plus ec and ot that might not be
bad. If we don't go to hotels and go home every night even better. If
we do go to hotels we better still get meals and held away. See how this
pans out.

The facts.
The pay rates Will change.
Seniority will be a thing of the past.
Super pools will be implemented.
Work rules will be drastically reduced.
Crews will swap trains at a halfway point and bypass the hotels. The
plans are already on the table.
Yard and road work will be combined. Everyone will become multi purpose
employees. Crews will be reduced.

It doesn't matter what happens to the stock. It doesn't matter how
they restructure. It doesn't matter what assets they sell. You are a
blue collar in the field worked with absolutely no control how CSX
handles its business. You are no body. You will come to work and bitch
every day like you always do and do your job as your told or be
fired. You can't even control you union's let along a corporation as
big as CSX. So learn to adapt to the changes. Keep your mouth shut and
do your job as your instructed. There's not a damn thing you can do
about it. The union's have no federal rights that prevents CSX from
restructuring. If you still have a job when it is all done then
consider yourself blessed. Do you job and take your paycheck. If this
pisses You off TOO BAD! The truth hurts. You cut your balls off years
ago so deal with the game you are being given. Conform or leave.

The reason that the hourly rate is back on the table is because of the
backpay. The company didn't want to Backpay under the hourly rate
because it would have been a huge increase in payment. Fact

25.30 an hour. Are you joking. So a 10 hour trip to Roselake that
already pays 414.00 for the trip rate is going to be reduced to 253.00.
A trip from avon to Lafayette at 100 miles pays 236.00. How the hell can
you make 236 on a job like that unless you stay out there 9 hours or
more. That doesn't normally happen. It's bad enough we are working
for the lowest paying class one railroad in the country but that rate
is pure rape! Last time I checked the CNIC was paying 41.00 hr. 410.00
for 10 hrs work. Hope your dead wrong about this. Get my job resume out
and head for another railroad or a factory that pays the same.

Are you a FNG!!!! What the hell. See it in writing. You have got to be
kidding. Have you not paid any attention to how this company works! I
have been out here over 22 years and CSX has to be the worst company on
the face of this earth for putting anything in writing. How many times
have you had a TM tell you that you got to do something different
because the rule has changed and not one damn bulletin or notice has
THE SYSTEM BULLETINS AND NOTICES? There is a shit load of stuff missing
especially in the equipment handling rules. The old rules that were
previously issued in bulletins are not in the operating rules so they
are supposed to be reissued quarterly until they are. Example.... where
is the rule that states that all empty unit trains will operate with one
unit on line only. See if you can find it anywhere. That's just one of
many. Supervisors say that if a rule isn't reissued it still stands as
is until it is abolished or rescinded. Now just how in the hell would a
new hire know what that rule was if he never saw it or couldn't find
it. See it in writing??? Are you joking??? Supervisors have been
pulling new rules and crap out of their butts since CSX took over and
never issuing one thing about it in writing. They tell you once you
have been told by a supervisor that your supposed to do a job task
different than the rule book states you are obligated to follow his
rule. If you don't then you will be wrote up. The only thing you can
do is call the operating rules department and tell them what this
supervisor has done and put it in for review. If you wait for them to
put something in writing then your an idiot. Ive been waiting 20 years
for csx to get there shit straight. Jesus man, they cant even get a
work order straight half the time. Get smart man!

I hope to god you misunderstood what you posted. Your saying the UTU
agreed to more stringent discipline rules for conductors who don't
have to protect yard jobs when they are working on pools??? Are you
kidding me. When was this side letter discussed with the members. Did
you ask them how in the hell they can sign off on this without
notifying the members that there were discussions on the matter. You
know how this company is. they will implement this process before there
is ever a side letter issued and the members get a notice that this has
been done. The unions are inept as hell at getting information out to
its members and the company wont wait for them to do it. they will go
full steam as soon as they can without any regard for the members not
knowing a thing about it. If this shit goes down that should be the
last straw for all of us. We need to sue the shit our of our unions for
misrepresentation and violation of the constitution. Avon yard is
remote. Im not qualified on the remotes and they can kiss my ass if
they try and miscall me for this stupid crap. Man, I hope you didn't
hear this right. If you did and the company starts its usual
predictable inept crap then its time to get a group together and go see
a a labor law lawyer!

So I went to a union meeting 2 days ago and it sounds like the company
wants to discuss hourly rate again. It also sounds like all the local
and general committees are open to discussion with the company on this.
My question is any idea what the hourly rate would be? I guess the soo
railroad already has it.anyone on this board ever talk to any engineers
that work over there to see what $$ they make.

Crap really rolls down hill where i'm at. CSX cuts off to many yard
jobs, so now the Locals are shotgunned together without being in any
type of blocks. Once the locals leave the yard they have to switch out
their train before they can switch the customers, locals are working 12
hrs. everyday and relieving themselves the next day. The customers
aren't getting serviced due to to much of a work load. Instead of
submitting the correct reason codes on the OBWO and showing the true
cause of customers not being worked. The Train Master is instructing
the Conductor's to put it on the customer so that he doesn't get any
heat from his bosses and his numbers look good. CSX Ethics hard at
