Heres a good, was charged with a switchcard violation and instead of
going by IDPAP policy which considers it a minor offense they took me
all the way up to serious offense which if they consider a minor
offense a major one I get dimissed if I get 2 more in a 3 yr period.In
my case nothing was damaged nothing was derailed(I did of course smash
his little card in the points.
Now I ask you is that fair to turn a minor into a serious offense just
so they could have an investigation? They jump over all kinds of
punishments that fit the offense to get to the (5 was explained that
those were the days I would get if I did NOT go to the investigation)
or (15 days off was explained that is what Ill get IF I DO go to the
investigation).
Seems like intimidation to me plus being put thru the wrong level of an
incident. What the hell happened? I have passed all me Otests for over
5yrs and this was the first time I;ve ever had a switchtag put on me in
that fasion which that little metal shirt clip was sticking up about a
1/4, plus was rainig, No excusses just need the punishment to fit the
offense. And whats sad is my utu rep had not known that this whole
thing was on the wrong level I was suppose to be at.
Any suggestion on which way to go from here? I have no idea why they
would want to treat a good employee in this manner, and from all the
stories I;ve heard thru the yrs I know it can get worse and that right
there reignited my sever anxiety disorder issues. So back to the doctor
I go, PLUS I see a counsoler.Im just to damn old to be starting a new
career, when all they have to do is stop acting like school hall
monitors so they run and show the princple what they had done so they
can get a little pat on thier head. VERY sad and suspicious on wht they
are doing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated cause my utu rep does
not seem to want to do what is nessary for people.
Thank you for takeing the time to read this,
