Your decision to leave the railroad was a good one. No one should feel
trapped in a job they aren't happy in. People don't realise it's
always been a job that lost most of their new hires over various
reasons. On average it use to be 1 out 5 would stay to many people
today are using the economy as an excuse. If that is the excuse then
they should be glad to have a job especially one that pays well with
benefits. It's not the same railroad as 10 years ago then again
majority of people working weren't on CSX 10 years ago. I hear from my
peers about the constant changes it troubles them but they're short
timers most only have a few years till retirement. It's up to the new
generation these days. Get involved with the union people need to
understand how it works before it can get fixed. Most complaining on
here don't have a clue.
