MoMo,

We were told the foreman is named Marvin and the truck operater is
John. They cleared a train, "went somewhere", came back, set the
hy-rail truck on the track, and then the train came through hit the
truck. The 'accident' occured in southern Indiana on the CE&D sub.
The cond and eng were pulled out of service and drug-tested, and both
MOW people were pulled out and tested. It was the foreman's 707 but he
'gave' the track to the train crew, never asked where they were before
they set the truck on, didn't announce they were setting on, didn't
have one of the others in the group watching for the lead engine to
pass, etc. I'm sure the company can charge the MOW boys with a dozen
or so life-critical rules, but the truck operator is one the biggest
supervisor suck-asses and snitches in the system.
The train crew will have an accident on their record even though it
wasn't their fault and beyond their control.
