Good post but right to privacy is no longer the employees right once
they step on company property. Bathrooms and locker rooms are an
exception. As long as the company makes it aware to the employees there
are cameras they are in their legal righs. You work for the company.
They control and regulate the property. No different than the cameras
you see in Wal-Mart or outside shopping malls. You have no privacy
rights in the crew room or anywhere else that you are supposed to be
performing service for the company. There is nothing you would be doing
that requires privacy in open common areas.
