Employed as: Locomotive Engineer, for 10-20 years

You don't know how many times I have picked up my supposedly clean
engines from the engine house in several different yards.
More than once the the toilet has been full, and the engine smelled.
When I've complained to the train master, road foreman of engines, or
the engine house supervisor I've been shown how to drain the tank once
I get down the road. God forbid we fix the problem, OR hold the guy who
signed off on the engine accountable. Instead I'm told to dump the
tank somewhere down the road.
Of course I'm sure that if I did dump the tank along side the road, as
I've been shown to do, everyone that took the time to show me how to
dump the tank along side the rail would deny it if I got caught.
You just have to love the incompetence (or amount of family members)
that CSX promotes into their management. To bad upper management
isn't held to the same standards that they hold the everyone else to,
but that's another post.
