Just so you don't have to vet me again, it's Dave since I'm not
saying anything I'd have to answer to the FRA again about.
I'm serious in the post tho. I heard this crap for years from John
Snow on down. Think about it: What new idea is EHH bringing to CSX?  So
what is the BOD thinking?  Ward was too soft or maybe a bit more moral
which ever. So they bring in a proven maniac. You got a better way of
saying it? When we moved Engineering to Jax senator Bird thru a fit. We
promised Bird a new shop at Barboursville (I saw the paintings of this
new shop) Have you seen this new shop? Of course not!  We closed
Barboursville to teach Bird and the state a lesson.  We all got a good
laugh outta that one. Same thing with you L@N guys in the merger. I
really don't give a rats rear if posters don't believe this garbage
but knowing EHH is just a freaking bully may give some insight. It's
simply a race. Do the grunts hang in until the BOD gets rid of him or
do you cave under pressure?

I'm afraid most posters have EHH wrong in what he's doing. It's much
more simple and we are using too much logic.
EHH is old school using old school tactics. He has no new ideas as to
how to make CSX more profitable only an old practice that does actually
work.  So how does it work?
INTIMIDATION !!!!!!
If you eleminate half of the train crews, half of the yards maintaining
the same revenue will profits increase? Of course !  Under old school it
is up to the grunts to make it work or he will fire you and keep firing
you until you submit. Don't feel bad railroads use the same tactic on
all states. Do as we say or we'll move facilities and cut jobs in your
state until you submitt. Economic extortion. Either way you impact
interstate commerce which brings in sanctions from the Feds.. remember
Regans No Strike Law?

HEY "W"---have you been asleep or do you live on Planet Know-Nothing? 
How many people has T-Rump fired?  Did you miss his firing of FBI
Director Comey?  How many days did the "Mooch" last?  HUH?  People
who didn't flunk K-Garten see the T-Rump WH as a non-stop train wreck!
 I guess it's OK with you that the Republican Party and T-Rump (got to
be a Billionaire through one dirty business trick after another---THINK
"Trump University" and what he did with the Atlantic City casinos),
act like total azzholes.   T-Rump screamed and hollered that he would
NEVER settle with the over 100 "Trump University" students who filed
a class action lawsuit against him.  "I'm not a settler!", he
screamed and hollered at rallies.  THEN, just a couple of days after
the election (he lost the popular vote by nearly 3 million, then LIED
about it!), HE SETTLED WITH THEM FOR a TOTAL of $25 Million!   So, did
you miss that?  T-Rump = Biggest Liar on Planet Earth.  Do you sleep 24
hours a day?  Do you have your cat or dog do the typing on your
keyboard?  Bottom line: People who don't see T-Rump as the worst Prez
in U.S. history must have drank a ton of the kool-aid, turning their
brains into what comes out of sewers.  So, go back to listening to Lush
Limpbaugh as he flushes his toilet mouth by pulling his ear lobe.

Re stuck:  yes, you are right about the customer service trying to get
work orders out.  It is really completely a nightmare.  The scanners
don't work half the time and the Clerks have to guess what is on the
train.  If a train is going in the opposite direction the scanner will
pick up in between the cars and add it on that train as an extra car. 
This is when you have to turn into Colombo and find out what the hell
is going on.  The interchange from other railroads is a complete
nightmare trying to figure out the trains consist.  The work order 
system works a whole lot better when you physically walk the train and
wrote the numbers down.  Just hand the crews the waybills and tonnage
graph and turn them loose. Never had any sleepers back then. 
Hell, the cameras even worked better than the system they have now.

 Be patient with customer service , believe me, they have their hands
full.. But you did hit the nail on the head, it is laughable and a joke
..

For those of us that work into and out of Chicago we know the CT crews
are some of three laziest around.

 EUGENE finally found out how little the crews do up there and has
started charging them with insubordination stealing time. Charge 10 of
them last week , so in retaliation they started to lay down  and he
said fine I'm shutting the whole thing down, sending all traffic he
can To BRC Clearing, IHB Blue Island, and CN Kirk (via the new Cline
Ave connection at MP DC 1). 

The Danville, Garrett and Grand Rapids crews will take their trains to
these yards vs. BARR.  Only a skeleton crew will be left at Barr to
switch local customers. In case you're wondering, CSX technology has
provided him and HQ with a tool that uses GPS off every yard locomotive
to provide a report on when locomotives start moving vs. Going on duty,
where it went during shift, switchlists issued and when locomotive
stopped moving vs. When crew finally tied up.  Kinda easy to see crew
on duty at 0700, locomotive parked next to yard office shut down, and
doesn't start moving till 0900. Then see loco parked at 0230 but crew
marks off at 1700, like click work....every day.  They think no one
sees, but they do.  If it's going on where you work it's only a
matter of time, we next change our ways, or the ax and charge letters
will flow...

Just a heads up. Barr yard in chicago is likely to be shuttered very
soon. More than 60 men were cut off this week alone. That number is
about to go up again. Barr yard is responsible for a full 25% of ALL of
csx income. Thats right...do your research. Barr keeps the lights on.
Barr is the only terminal consistently running in he black. And hes
closing it. What do you think is going to operating ratio? Way up
 Know what that means? Deeper job cuts. 15 years of seniority is no
longer a safety net. This monster at the helm hates you, and this
company. He never came here with any intention to improve anything.  He
is here to dsmantle it. Want to know why? Because CSX told him no. This
is a temper tantrum. Pure and simple.

history.  His business dealings over decades smell like the Grand Canyon
full of poop = a billion dollars worth of bankruptcies, all to his

paid a crooked doctor to declare Donald 4-F = unfit for military

Since the inauguration of my Presidency, and the enforcement of my
immigration policy; all entry level wages in the construction industry
has increased by at least 20%!

way too fast with no regards to our well-being. Therefore take your
time, fill out all your books and paperwork, walk nice and easy, and
don't let anybody rush you. If you don't have the equipment or tools
or the help don't do the job. This whole game plan of his will bite

Customers 

If your not getting your freight delivered try calling the CSX work
order department. Getting a work order is nothing but a joke and just
plain laughable.  Got trains sitting out that can't go on foreign
lines either because they cant get interchange info. Some of these
trains have hazmat and alert cars on them.  How the hell could a train
run from the east coast to the Midwest and no one in Jacksonville can
dig up a train sheet for the next crew who is going to take it. They
got car readers that scan these trains. They got GPS. How can they not
pull up a profile on their trains.   You freight is sitting in sidings
and being shuffled around. If this isn't a joke I don't know what is!

Go ahead and post your stupid crap. We got so many people in bumped
status and no where to go it's not even funny. Barr yard has lost 67 

People and it's just beginning. Where the hell is trump now. Where are
all the unemployed going to go now.  Packing their bags and moving
anywhere they can find work. In the meantime customers aren't getting
served and our company we have stuck in and our lives invested in is
trying raped by a sick old dying man with millions running out of his
pockets.  This is all sickening! Forget your bonuses too. Management
isn't getting a dime.  The operation ratio is over 70% right now. So
much shit was wrote off when Harrison invested in the company that it
made the debt ratio look great but the fact is that didn't change the
operating cost and it's higher than ever. Smoke and mirror book
keeping and we are going to pay for it.  Just plain sick over this
shit! So get f@:$king  serious.  This isn't a damn joke!
