No one can blame me. I voted NO for that crappy agreement. The raises
are a slap in the face and a joke. Inflation is figured at 4% a year.
We aren't getting shit. If I get seriously sick or any of you do I
hope you have money saved because your gonna pay for it. All you
idiots
did was look at a back pay check and the premium cost. Never took a
good
look at the future. Joke will be on all of us when 2019 rolls around
and
we end up paying the higher premium anyway. You think it won't happen
then you are retarded! They already have it planned for us. They will
dangle some cash in front of the jackasses and threaten to raise co
pay
if you don't take the cash and premium increase. Will you be an idiot
again!

Not to mention the 15% tax cut these corporations are about to get.
Law makers say it will be passed on to workers through higher wages.

Your exactly right. There are no work rules or arbitraries that this
company is going to pay. And if we can't get a better contract when
the economy is booming then obviously the bargaining power of those
arbitraries ain't crap. I for one worked 203 hours in the month of
November..i certainly didn't make the equivalent of 12 grand last
month.

You are on board with the excessive restrictions of the use of our
phones aren't you??? Then you better start doing something about
these TMs blowing my phone up with text messages when Im out working a
local. When we finished our work and was getting ready to head back I
turned my phone on to check and see if I had any messages because I
have a sick kid and I had 12 text messages from the TM over the area
going nuts wanting to know how we were doing, how much work did we have
done, were we going to make it back on time, blah blah blah and then I
heard later that the TM made a comment that We were chicken shits
because we wouldn't check our phones throughout the day. Well guess
what, my phone is never going to be on during the day when Im working
and if the company wants to come after me for it you better be prepared
to back me when I blow the whistle and file intimidation charges.

Looks like in the precision killing formula it took CSX 3 months less
this year to kill the total killed last year minus one death. Which
compared to drivers with brains who would have had ONE death in the
same miles traveled.

CSX
Accident/Incident data current through the end of September 30, 2017
Total train miles: 55,136,736
Total fatalities: 96 Switching miles: 9,757,177
Total nonfatal conditions: 423 Employee hours: 33,448,616
55,136,736/96 = 574,341
100,000,000/574,341 = 174
=============================
Accident/Incident data current through the end of September 30, 2016
Total train miles: 62,144,853
Total fatalities: 74 Switching miles: 9,836,819
Total nonfatal conditions: 393 Employee hours: 37,373,557
62,144,853/74 = 839,795
100,000,000/839,795 = 119
===============================
Accident/Incident data current through the end of Dec. 31, 2016
Total train miles: 81,402,062
Total fatalities: 97 Switching miles: 13,005,876
Total nonfatal conditions: 520 Employee hours: 49,082,195
81,402,062/97 = 839,197
100,000,000/839,197 = 119

Fooled u all!!!

Not a single one of you saw the evil plan. How could you not see it.
All those guys taking legit fmla just got screwed. The company can't
get the abusers with discipline so they got them through the pocket
book. They don't work they don't get paid. Now they have higher cost
out the pocket. The sad thing is the one who are using it legit are
going to suffer for those who abuse it to play games.

Our union leaders should not have ever put that up for a vote. One
single contract double our out of pocket. I understand it going up but
not double. All the involved unions suck but now I'll guess I switch
to the cheapest dues. Fuck you UTU!!!

Yes it could of been a better agreement, but when did the R.R. ever care
what you got in any agreement. You just have to put on your Big Boy
pants and suck it up. I for one have been at the end of a pick and
shovel, worked 100 hour work weeks, I have griped about the conditions
at work, but anymore I just throw my hands up and say they have me for
12 hrs. The fun in this job went away a long time ago, now its just a
job and a paycheck.

Unfortunately that terrible contract was ratified. I have to wonder if
any of you guys actually read the entire agreement, or just the
summary. When you or a family member gets sick your going to find out
real quick just how bad this contract is. And only a 9.8% raise which
doesn't even cover inflation. Better sock those back pay checks away
for your increased health care costs.

I just signed a pention to stop cameras in loco cabs. They are putting
cameras in side shop everywhere. I donít agree with these cameras. But
after a phone was found on crew member that was texting just before
horrific crash where dozens lost there lifeís. The company was sued and
families of victims affected forever. It is always that one incedent
that affects everyone. There case is if you donít have a phone you
canít use it.Stats show now that there are more deaths from cell phone
use than people impaired by a substance. I worked at railroad and I
answered my phone when I could, but would of been fired if caught. You
know how it is,it will never happen to me!!!

I appreciate your thoughts and actions on becoming a whistle blower,
but it's not that hard. Billingsly has taken a stand for SAFETY and
will be singled out as an example to the rest of CSX employees NOT to
go this route. This belongs to OSHA, FELA, the UNIONS and many
categories protecting employees and the public from those who consider
themselves above the laws. MAN UP and back Louis Billingsly any way you
can it's going to get tough on him and family.
God Bless you Billingsly

i am curious on what Carolina lines EHH is selling off? As a G&W
employee, they are interested in GA, SC (Upstate), and parts of NC.

Just didnít know if anyone knew what EHH meant when said about selling
underutilized lines. Put our company name on the tracks!

Just looking for a sign...

To establish whistleblower status document safety or ethics complaints
BEFORE hand. Email, off duty, your complaints to the proper authority
with a copy to the union. Be respectful, check spelling and grammar, and
be specific with times and dates.Be sure that you understand the rules
and agreement sections violated. A witness is invaluable if possible. A
flood of complaints in each location can't be ignoted. It would be
great if the local chairmen would take the lead and coordinate, but if
not still follow through.
