BLE LC

Tell the Labor Relations and NCCC to go blow it out their asses. We are
not going for no hourly rate and giving up our penalty claims and any
other givevbacks?

Where do you think we work? At the stUPid?
They might go for it but we? Give us all 5 million and maybe we'll go
for it.
The SMART butt Trainmen will jump for 53 an hour to cut each others
throats, but we wont. That is all crap.

I just got off the phone with the BLE G.C.'s office and here's a
update on contract negotiations. CSX is actively pursuing a Hourly
rate for all Loco. Engineers on the CSX system. To be brief, both
parties are far from having a acceptable agreement to present to the
members for ratification. CSX is offering $42.50 per hour with lots of
work rule concessions and basically eliminating penalty claims. The BLE
is asking for $53.00 per hour with additional time off for sick days,
amongst other things. Will post any updates in the future.

Brothers

They are already nailing guys for not having their face mask on in the
cab. Got them with the camera. Now if we want the playing field
evened, the only thing we can do is get pictures of Management not
social distancing and hanging out in their offices without mask on.
THEY DO IT ALL THE TIME! They ride around in their vehicles together
and pow wow in their offices without them. You know damn well they are
doing this shit in their offices in Jacksonville. I would like to know
what the deal is going to be when the governors in all the states lift
the mask rule and say make your own choices. If the person you are
riding with in the cab doesnt care and you both agree you dont need it
especially after both of you have had shots, then there is no reason to
wear that itchy, sweaty irritating piece of crap. I dont care what the
damn FRA say! They should have NO jurisdiction over the states ruling
for their residents! we are not a federally owned business. We are
just regulated on the rails by a federal agency. I know we are on their
property and they can demand it but if management isnt going to follow
all the rules then they shouldnt be allowed to pull people out of
service for not wearing the damn things all the time either. Screw
getting the shots if it isnt going to make a damn difference!

What position was John Steinbeck hired for and at what location? You say
we are screwed at CSX? Tell us something we haven't already been
experiencing for the last several years. CSX doesn't have the manpower
to run trains now. Hiring a hatchet man will just bury them deeper.
Nothing surprises anyone at CSX anymore! Bring it on! True mutual
respect works but I guarantee you intimidation does not and will not!
Anyone with half a brain knows that.

further more if you quit the RR and you have over 120 months. RRB has
jurisdiction over Tier 1 and this can never switch to social security.
If you pay into social security after leaving your RR job tier 1
benefits will increase. Tier2 will remain the same amount.

loss of current connection it's true survivor benefits and
supplemental benefits will be lost BUT survivor benefits is not your
spouse's annuity two different benefits. Once vested the employee's
annuity and or spouse's annuity can not be lost. As for the loss of
supplemental benefit. An employee must have rendered service in the
early 80s to be entitled to that benefit. If the employee's
children are over a certain age survivor benefits doesn't exist.

Current connection applies to survivor's benefits and supplemental
benefits. children are grown survivor benefits does not exist if
you hired out after the mid 80s you are not entitled to supplemental
benefits anyway and it's only a couple hundred dollars

if you are vested and you hate your job. go sling burgers at Mcdonalds
till you're of age to draw

Check into things. Once vested = vested.
However, if a vested person breaks their current connection
requirements before receiving a RRB annuity, and passes away,
survivor benefits may be lost. Again, work with the RRB.

Being terminated doesnít have shit to do with whether or not someone is
entitled to railroad retirement. The carrier pays into the
railroad retirement on employee's behalf. They have. Nothing else to
do with it or say about it. Itís all about time paid into. If
a person paid in for 60 months that person is entitled to tier2
benefits. If a person paid in for 120 months that person is entitled to
tier1 benefits at age 62 with a reduction. If a person pays in 360
months they are entitled to benefits at 60 without reduction. You
can quit, get fired, go to a non railroad job go to prison or whatever
you are still entitled to the annuity.

Railroad sucks? People are free to leave no one holding a gun to
anyone's head. Railroad, you love it or hate it there's no in
between. During my 38+ year career there were good & bad times. Good &
bad management. The bonds I made with my co-workers are forever. No one
understands it more than another railroader. The reason most don't
leave is the money & benefits. Not a lot of places where you have
healthcare for the entire family. Not a lot of places where you have a
decent livable pension. Those are part of your pay package, it's never
been just about what you bring home. You have to look at all of it.

Dude? All the raping and pillaging aside ,this is the best year ever
Fnancially for you.? Let me tell you dumb sss. Your kids don't care
how much money you made. They'll remember you were never there for
their ball games etc... Don't get behind on your child support
payments or I'll guarantee they'll never forget about that!, Do your
time, make time for your children and mark off when you need too. Ditch
the fat wife if need be! She's probably screwing your neighbor anyhow!
Just saying!!! The railroad sucks and women are evil! Two facts you
cannot dispute!!!😁
