CSX-Sucks!

Asleep At The Wheel

Casey Jones you'd better,
watch your speed...

"The railroad is a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week operation", many of us have been told, when requesting some extra 'rest' between jobs. Unfortunately, the people that make the railroad move, like all other people, do not operate "24 hours a day, 7 days a week".

Anyone who's worked around the clock has either seen, or experienced first-hand, the inevitable effects of sleep deprivation. Maybe it was you, maybe it was the jitney driver, maybe it was....

The real fun is when someone tries to explain to the crew-caller that they are too tired to go to work.

Insubordination, that's a joke. What other loser job out there uses
that for grounds to fire someone?

What's the " Big News" coming out the 1st of the year? Is it DP
will be used? Big fucking deal. You dumbasses believe and worry
about petty shit all the time. It's the 6th of January and Danville
still open.

Walk your train! Get off the engine and watch one by. It takes no
skill and little effort to do so.

UP

Our RF's said you must walk as much of your train any time it is
stopped on line of road. It is also written in the operating rules book
under 4252.2 that it has to be done. They never took that rule out of
the book. The RF didn't say if it was only when you are stopped
waiting for a train. If your stopped waiting for a bad signal or rail
workers, ect. you are supposed to walk your train. One did say that he
wouldn't fail you if the other train was so close that it would not
be worth the time. He said if you cant walk at least half your train
then just stay at the head end and do your roll by inspection. Its is
still bullshit for any conductor to get on the opposite side especially
at night when the engineer cant see you if you get hurt. No way in hell
he can get to anyone in time to possibly help and maybe save a life.
You cant see shit at night and a roll by at 50-60 is just total crap.
There is a reason the FRA wrote the rule that a roll by inspection is
to be done at 10 mph. All trains should slow down to 10 when they are
passing other trains and having a roll by inspection done.
If you are from the UP why are you asking. I thought your rules stated
that you were not supposed to get down in bad weather conditions and
any time there is ice or a slip hazard. I don't think you have to
worry about the UP copying our rules. The UP has always been more
concerned with your guys safety that CSX is with ours.

Danville will never be shut down. I can't believe you dumbasses
believe this shit. As far as running trains down the monon that track
isn't worth a shit. Not to mention by the time the carrier got those
inbreds in Danville qualified on all tracks. Trains will be fully
automated.

PSR only means 1 thing , Ponzi Scheme Railroading, Railroads
have been doing big business for 150+ years, All this crap is a
ploy to drive up the stock price and cut jobs. The railroad runs
itself, The biggest problem is getting greedy shareholders
involved.

Agreed, felons/molesters should be given second chances, but not on the
railroad wearing ankle braces. The braces alerts the authorities when
the contract drivers knowingly drive close to schools, and the braces
alert the authorities. And then all hell breaks loose when the cops is
flagging down the vehicle full of other crew members.
In some cases, when they have relapses and get caught again, and
waiting on a court date, they tend to do unthinkable:

COMMIT SUICIDE BY RAIL, AND TAKE OTHERS WITH THEM SO THAT THERE LOVE
ONES WILL ENJOY THEIR SETTLEMENT FROM CASUALTY MANAGEMENT!
